Dr. Ruto appointed Emmanuel Talam as the Press Secretary to the Presidential Communication Service (PCS).

President William Ruto on Monday, October 17, made five appointments in his office. 

Dr. Ruto appointed Emmanuel Talam as the Press Secretary to the Presidential Communication Service (PCS).

The Head of State also appointed Reuben Maiyo as his Private Secretary. 

At the same time, President Ruto appointed veteran journalist Njeri Rugene as the Head of Communication Services in the Office of the Deputy President.

George Ng'ong'a Macgoye was also appointed as the Chief Staff to Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua.

Mr. Paul Muraya Mwangi was named the Private Secretary to Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua. 

This comes days after he made other appointments where Hussein Mohamed was named as the State House spokesperson. 

Felix Koskei was named as the new Chief of Staff and Head of Public Service while Former Turkana Governor Josphat Nanok was appointed the Deputy Chief of Staff.

Other State House appointments announced by Kinyua on Friday are as follows:

Dr. David K. Ndii – Chairperson, President's Council of Economic Advisors

Dr. Augustine Cheruiyot – Senior Advisor and Head of Economic Transformation Secretariat

Dr. Kamau Thuge – Senior Advisor and Head of Fiscal Affairs and Budget Policy

Mohammed Hassan – Member, President's Council of Economic Advisors

Dr Nancy Laibuni – Associate Member, President's Council of Economic Advisors
