"Of course, I refused to sign this death warrant. The hosts did not even greet me. It was a silly setup."

Controversial Lawyer Miguna Miguna has disparaged the Standard Media Group radio Station Spice FM after they demanded he signs an indemnity form before he is interviewed.

A form of indemnity (LOI) is a contractual document that guarantees certain provisions will be met between two parties.

In this case, Miguna was required to sign the form to protect the company from legal actions that may arise as a result of his interview with Spice FM.

In response to the demands issued by the Standard Media Group, Miguna told them off saying he refused to sign the form.

The lawyer even claimed the radio hosts refused to greet him arguing that signing the form would amount to the death penalty.

He further argued that the radio station has never asked the previous guests to sign an indemnity form arguing that him being asked was a show of bias.

"Standard Digital team at Spice FM tried to gag and force me to give them a blanket indemnity one minute before the interview started. Of course, I refused to sign this death warrant. The hosts did not even greet me. It was a silly setup," Miguna wrote on Facebook.

"I've appeared on TV and radio for the past 30 years but not once has a media house - including Standard Digital and KTN News - asked me to sign a blanket indemnity form. Spice FM has never asked any of its previous guests to sign the ridiculous form they tried to force on me!"

Miguna arrived in the country on Thursday, October 20 after four years and eight months of exile in Canada.

Since his arrival, he has held a couple of interviews with the media sharing his experiences and way forward.
