Mercy Corps AgriFin in collaboration with CGAP, FinEquity, FSD Kenya, IDH, SPARC, SPROUT, and World Bank, will be hosting the 7th AgriFin Learning Event (ALE) on 7th and 8th November 2023 at Safari Park Hotel, Nairobi.

Mercy Corps AgriFin, which was launched in 2012, aims to reach unbanked smallholder farmers living on less than $2 per day and build farmer income, productivity, and resilience while reaching 40% women. 

According to a press statement to newsrooms on Wednesday, October 18, the AgriFin Learning Event will aim to showcase how digital technology can be the driving force behind building resilience and transforming the lives of farmers. x

"The event aims to showcase how digital solutions can transcend borders, creating a global impact on agricultural practices. It's a unique opportunity to learn how technology can bridge gaps and connect farmers across continents," part of the statement reads.

Attendees will be expected to witness cutting-edge technologies and innovations that are revolutionizing farming practices and market access across the globe. 

This year's AgriFin Learning Event will be themed, "Resilient, Inclusive, and Sustainable Food Systems: Enhancing Collaboration to Scale Digital Solutions." 

The program, in its fourth phase, aims to reach five million smallholder farmers across Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Ethiopia, and Nigeria.
