Maribe said she will be in for a new beginning starting September 1.

Former Citizen Tv Journalist Jacque Maribe has announced a major comeback starting September 1, 2023.

The celebrated journalist took to her Instagram page to announce that she will be making a fresh start in her career beginning next month.

Though she did not make it clear whether she will be getting back on YouTube or not, Maribe disclosed that she would not be embarking on her previous journey of sharing stories on social media.

"September 1 2022, I chose to only do stories here on IG. Well, shouldn't that change now on September 1, 2023? The sabbatical ends. Loading," she wrote on her Instagram page.

Maribe was one of the high-flying Kenyan journalists whose light dimmed after she was implicated in the murder of businesswoman Monica Kimani.

Journalist Jacque Maribe.

Charged alongside her former Lover Jowie Irungu, the murder case is still active in court and could deal maribe a blow in the event she is found guilty.

The case saw her leave Citizen TV after the courts blocked her from anchoring and reporting News.

The move saw Citizen TV deploy her as 4 pm news producer, a role she performed for some months before she left the station under unclear circumstances.

She would later start a YouTube channel where she could host big names in the political scenes.

The program however did not last long as she run a few episodes and went mum thereafter.
