A Nakuru court on Wednesday issued an arrest warrant against the Senator moments after the ODPP ordered he be placed in police custody pending arraignment.

The Senator has been implicated in the Finland and Canada Education Programme Scandal where millions contributed by Uasin Gishu's parents for their children's education have gone missing.

The senator despite pleading his innocence has maintained that he will work with the parents to ensure the funds are returned to them.
