Inooro TV presenter Hellen Muthoni has announced her exit from the station. 

Muthoni, who hosted a gospel show dubbed  Rurumuka, announced on Sunday that she was hosting her last show at the station. 

Apart from being a show host, Muthoni is a renowned gospel artist and fashion designer.

"Good morning, I am much delighted to be hosting Rurumuka for the very last time," Muthoni said.

She hosted the show alongside DJ Covenant.

In a message to DJ Covenant, Muthoni wished him well saying it has been a pleasure to have worked with him.

"It was amazing serving with you DJ Covenant. May the good Lord continue being gracious unto you," she wrote on Facebook.

Muthoni had a career spanning 7 years at the station.

She managed to build a fanatical following during her period which resulted in the show being one of the most watched by listeners who speak and understand Gikuyu Language.

It is not clear yet who she will be handing the show to following the exit.

Inooro TV is one of the top stations that broadcast in the Gikuyu language.
