"Unfortunately, my son died four days ago. It has been a very tough journey for me."

Comedian Kennedy Odhiambo popularly known as Crazy Kennar has opened up on the death of his newborn son.

Speaking during his Happy Country Show at the Kenya International Conference Centre (KICC) on Saturday, December 17 evening, Kennar disclosed that his son passed away four days ago and has been having a tough time dealing with loss.

"Unfortunately, my son died four days ago. It has been a very tough journey for me because we had to go through all that and at the same time make the show," Kennar stated.

The comedian called on Kenyans to look out for each other noting that people may be going through tough times despite showing happy faces in public.

"So my word as happy citizens is that whenever you see somebody walking while smiling, just go and ask him if he is okay or not. Let's be our brothers’ keepers, our sisters’ keepers and let’s love one another,” he added.

Despite the setback, Kennar’s show was a huge success and was graced by a number of celebrities including; Bien, Abel Mutua, Njugush, Butita, Phil Karanja, Awinja, Judy Nyawira, The WaJesus, Terence Creative, Milly Chebby, Sandra Dacha, Nameless, Jackie Matubia among others.

Kennar is in a relationship with Natalie Asewe, which has lasted several years and is rooted in their enduring childhood friendship.
