  2. Reduce refined carbohydrates in your diet. That means cake, mandazis, white bread and such have to go.
  3. On the same note, avoid trans fats which are contained in most of the packaged snacks such as bites, crisps, biscuits, and such.
  4. Reduce alcohol intake. This one especially goes to the men. Scientists state that it is healthier to have less than one drink daily than to drink excessively once in a while.
  5.  Increase the amount of protein in your diet.
  6. Reduce stress levels, a lot of the stubborn belly fat is caused by undue stress on an individual.
  7. Coconut oil: incorporate a lot of coconut oil in your cooking, it has proven to be one of the healthiest fats one can consume. Its effects on men have been proven to be very favourable.
  8. Add Apple Cider Vinegar to your diet. A simple drink of ACV, warm water, some ginger and a tablespoon of honey in the morning does a lot of good to reduce belly fat and boost your immunity.
  9. Exercise: incorporate cardio and weight lifting into your exercise regime and you will see wonders in getting rid of that stubborn belly fat.
