Katani

Katani is an upcoming residential estate located off Mombasa Road past Syokimau.

The area is served with several public service vehicles which take one hour to move from Nairobi Central Business District to the area.

Train is also an option for residents moving to Katani which charges Ksh50 to Syokimau Terminus.

Katani area is generally a controlled development area where huge apartments are abhorred. This gives a perfect family set-up.

Houses are less costly with some one-bedroom houses ranging between Ksh10,000 to Ksh15,000.

Bedsitters and single rooms cost less than Ksh10,000 making it ideal for all classes of people.

Although the area is not connected to fresh piped water, it is majorly served by borehole water which is readily available in most rental units.

Unlike other areas, Katani is less populated assuring tenants privacy and a sense of security.

Moreover, land in the area is affordable ranging from Ksh1.5 million for a 50 by 100 piece of land.

Ruiru

Ruiru is bustling with development and a population boom. The area serves both the super rich owning their houses and those seeking to rent.

Its exponential growth is due to the proper road network, the setup of an industrial park recently launched by President William Ruto’s administration and several companies in the area.

Modern markets, shopping hubs and other social amenities also contributed to the growth of the area.

Residents access various services at ease making life in the area less costly.

Ruiru rental units depend on one's earnings. Bedsitters range from Ksh7,000 to Ksh10,000.

One-bedroomed houses charge Ksh10,000 and above depending on the building structure and modern facilities installed in the houses.

Adams Arcade

Adams Arcade is located along Ngong Road just past Prestige Shopping Mall.

The estate is strategically located being served by various matatu saccos. Residents living in the estate pay Ksh30 during off-peak hours and Ksh50 during peak hours to town.

The area is surrounded by various markets including Toi Market which sells several products at affordable rates.

Shopping hubs and other social facilities are also within the diameter of Adams Arcade.

The pre-colonial estate is made of both old houses and modern apartments with rental charges ranging from Ksh10,000 to Ksh17,000 for one-bedroomed houses.

Moving to the area is ideal as it will help one save on transport and money spent in buying various household items are readily sold at fair prices at Toi Market.

Donholm Estate

Donholm is a highly affordable estate in Nairobi. The legendary estate has diverse apartments for everyone.

One bedroom house in the area ranges between Ksh10,000 to Ksh20,000.

The area is served by various public service transport systems making it easy to commute from Nairobi daily.

Residents can use commuter trains which charge Ksh35 from Nairobi CBD.

The area is served by numerous financial institutions, medical facilities including Mama Lucy Kibaki Hospital, and several police stations assuring residents of their safety.
