64 more people have tested positive for Covid-19 in the last 24 hours out of a sample size of 1, 852 raising the nationwide tally to 96, 678.
The death toll has also risen to 1, 685 after four patients succumbed to the virus in the last 24 hours.
CS Mutahi Kagwe announced that 55 patients had recovered from the disease, 41 being from the Home-Based Care Program, while 14 have been discharged from various hospitals.
The total recoveries in the country no now stand at 79,012.
