The Orange Democratic Movement is today conducting its nomination exercise in Msawmbeweni to determine who will be its candidate in the December by-election.

Two candidates namely; Omar Idd Boga and Nicholas Zani have expressed interest in the party ticket and are today squaring it out in the ODM primaries in the constituency.

In a tweet, ODM noted that the exercise kicked on well and everything is moving on smoothly.

Looking at the photos shared by the party, the exercise seems to have attracted very few people. However, this could be due to measures put in place to curb spread of Covid-19.

“Nomination exercise currently going on in Msambweni Constituency. Two aspirants are contesting for the party ticket. They Omar Idd Boga and Nicholas Zani... the exercise is peaceful and turnout good,” the party said.

Whoever emerges the winner between Zani and Boga will square it out with candidates from other parties.
