Moses Kuria left a section of Kenyans in stitches after he insisted that joining Raila Odinga’s Azimio La Umoja is not an option for him.

Gatundu South lawmaker Moses Kuria on Tuesday, March 1 left a section of Kenyans in stitches after he insisted that joining Raila Odinga’s Azimio La Umoja is not an option for him.

Addressing mourners at the burial of former Kiambu governor Ferdinand Waititu’s mother in Kiambu County, Kuria maintained that he may not know on whose side he is but he knows where he is not.

The vocal MP said that people have been asking him on whose side he is as the August 9 General Election inches closer, noting that he is on the side of God.

“Many people have been asking me, on whose side are you? And I’m saying here that I’m on the side of God because that’s the side that can never fail you. That’s the side that got me out of the hospital,” Kuria stated.

“But there’s one thing I know. I might not know where I am, but I know where I can't be. In this life, I’m the one to make the decision about my direction, you’ll never see me in Azimio…and even if I die, don’t take me to Azimio,” the outspoken MP added.

The Chama Cha Kazi leader has been on the headlines since he jetted back into the country from Dubai where he was undergoing treatment after injuring his feet.

A few days back, he met with One Kenya Alliance (OKA) principals and agreed to work with them but gave a disclaimer.

Kuria maintained that he won’t join the outfit if it supports Azimio.
