Martha Karua has given the clearest indication of her preferred presidential candidate ahead of the August polls. 

Narc Kenya party leader Martha Karua has set social media ablaze after she participated in a presidential poll on Tuesday.

A tweep by the name @aaliyah_khxnl put up a poll asking netizens on their preferred President between Deputy President William Ruto and ODM leader Raila Odinga.

In the poll, the user stated that Netizens would participate by retweeting the post if they preferred Mr. Odinga or liking the post if they preferred Dr. Ruto.

Ms. Karua, using her official Twitter account, retweeted the post which insinuated that she preferred the former Prime Minister as the next President.

Her retweet then sent Twitter into a frenzy as netizens shared their mixed reactions regarding the gesture by the former Gichugu MP.

Ms. Karua’s reaction comes even as she continues to remain mum on her next move after her One Kenya Alliance (OKA) partners joined Azimio la Umoja.

Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria on Tuesday teased the Advocate of the High Court after he suggested that he looked forward to a Ruto-Karua ticket.

"Pick a side and put on your Jersey. I look forward to an imminent Ruto - Karua ticket to save this country from eternal dynastic domination and give hopes to millions of children who went to school bare-footed. If you decide otherwise, you will still remain my sister, my senior and my friend," Moses Kuria stated on Facebook.
