Raila Odinga's Presidential Campaign Secretariat spokesperson Prof. Makau Mutua has denied meeting with Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka and Kitui Senator Enock Wambua.
In a tweet on Sunday morning, May 22, Prof. Mutua clarified details of a photo of himself with Kalonzo and Wambua which he had posted on Saturday.
“In happier times with my brothers Kalonzo Musyoka and Senator Enoch Wambua. Let’s hope “the past is prologue” [Act 2, Scene 1, The Tempest, William Shakespeare],” Prof. Mutua captioned the photo he posted on Saturday.

But on Sunday, he said that the photo was taken months ago and he did not meet the former vice president and his close ally.
“I didn’t meet Kalnzo Musyoka or Enoch Wambua today. The picture was taken months ago. An intelligent and normal reading is clear that the picture was taken in the past,” he tweeted.
On Friday, Prof. Mutua named Senator Wambua alongside his counterpart Mutula Kilonzo and Makueni MP Dan Maanzo as politicians misleading Kalonzo.
He said that the trio was not good for the Wiper boss advising him to ditch them.
“Kalonzo Musyoka has three advisors who’ve misled him. The trio of Mutula Kilonzo Jr, Makueni MP Dan Maanzo and senator Enoch Wambua aren’t good for him. The three are ruining his political career and future. He should ditch them.” He tweeted.
There have been reports of Kalonzo planning to return to Azimio after he ditched the political outfit upon the unveiling of Martha Karua as Raila’s running mate.
