CS Education Ezekiel Machogu and KNEC officials will brief president Ruto about the results before releasing them.

The Kenya Certificate of Primary Education 2022  exam results will be released today, Wednesday, December 21.

The results of 1,244,188 candidates will be released after Education CS Ezekiel Machogu briefs President William Ruto at the State House about the same.

The results release will pave way for the form one selection that will take place almost immediately to allow parents to prepare their children for form one admission.

Schools are expected to reopen country-wide on January 23, 2023.

The KCPE candidates wrote the exams between November 28 and November 30.

This batch of KCPE candidates is second last before students fully transition to the competency-based curriculum.

The release of the results had been delayed owing to President Ruto's absence from the country.
