The body of the woman was discovered with multiple stab wounds.

Police in Kitengela are looking into a horrific incident where a man is suspected to have to have killed his girlfriend in an apartment.

Confirming the Wednesday evening incident, Isinya sub-county Police Commander Ancent Kaloki said that the police are investigating the events leading to the incident.

According to the police, the bodies of the two, which had stab wounds were discovered lifeless in a room Kyang’ombe estate in Kitengela.

The body of the 23-year-old young woman had visible multiple stab wounds while the 24-year-old man had a single stab on the chest.

"We condole with the families. We have launched an investigation to establish what transpired before the bizarre incident,” Kaloki stated.

The bodies of the deceased have since been moved to the Shalom Hospital Mortuary awaiting an autopsy.

The incident comes months after 11-year-old boy from Kitengela who had gone missing was discovered dead with 17 stab wounds on the neck and head.

Emmanuel Kipkemboi’s body was found at an isolated house near his home at Jamii Bora estate in Kitengela.

The Sathya-sai School pupil had failed to return home from school before his lifeless body was retrieved metres away from his home.
