Police in Nairobi are investigating an incident in which a Rwandese woman was Monday morning found dead at a  bus station in the Kamukunji area of Nairobi.

The woman had taken a seat at the waiting bay when his body was discovered.

The woman is said to have been motionless for some time prompting touts to find out what could have been her problem.

It is while inquiring that they discovered he was already dead.

She had a piece of luggage next to him at the waiting bay.

A search was conducted in her pocket during which a passport was discovered. She was identified as Dancila Niharabimana.

"It is unclear where the woman was headed at the time of the incident but most public service vehicles operating at the bus stop head to Eastlands," police aware of the incident told Nairobi Leo.

The officer added:

"She was alone at the time of the Saturday incident and police recovered a passport from her pocket to identify her."

Police moved her body to the morgue as they await the autopsy report.
