"In view of the foregoing, we are regrettably unable to host you for your NDC on 22nd May 2023."

The Bomas of Kenya have denied the Jubilee Party faction allied to former President Uhuru Kenyatta a venue to host their National Delegates Conference on May 22, Nairobi Leo has established.

In a letter written by Bomas' Communication and marketing manager Gladys Kang'ethe to Jubilee Acting Executive Director Polycarp Hinga, whose legitimacy has been confirmed by a source at Bomas, the venue sought for the NDC is under renovation.

"Our main Auditorium, whose capacity is 2,000 pax, has been scheduled for renovation works from 16th May 2023 for eight (8) weeks," the statement addressed to acting executive director Polycarp Hinga reads.

The letter further indicated that Bomas is not in a position to offer another venue for the meeting as the available ones have all been booked.

When contacted by Nairobi Leo to confirm the authenticity of the letter, Kang'ethe could not confirm or deny it.

She said she is not authorised to speak to the media over the matter.

Hinga, who was addressed in the letter, did not receive our calls or respond to our messages despite confirmation of receipt.
