Raila has landed at JKIA ahead of the Azimio rally at Kamukunji Grounds.

Azimio la Umoja leader Raila Odinga on Tuesday, June 27 landed at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA).

The Former Prime Minister was received by National Assembly Minority Leader Opiyo Wandayi, former Kakamega Governor Wycliffe Oparanya, ex-Mungiki leader Maina Njenga and the Gor Mahia team.

Taking to his social media after arriving at JKIA, Raila stated; “I'm back in town and pleased to meet Team Gor Mahia! Congratulations to them once again. Let's meet at Kamukunji now.”

The Azimio la Umoja coalition on Thursday last week invited Kenyans to Kamukunji grounds for a consultation meeting after the National Assembly passed the Controversial Finance Bill 2023.

Addressing the media at the Jaramogi Oginga Odinga Foundation, Karua said they would announce the next course of action during the rally.

“We have decided to invite Kenyans to a consultation at the Kamukunji grounds on Tuesday, June 27 at 10 am.

“Where the next course of action will be decided. Whenever as a people we have come together we have always found a solution even to our worst problems, this time will be no different. We believe that in the end, it is the people’s voices that will prevail,” Karua stated.
