President William Ruto on Tuesday met RMS owner SK Macharia at State House. 

President William Ruto on Tuesday, June 27 met with Royal Media Services (RMS) owner Samuel Kamau Macharia popularly known as SK Macharia at State House.

A source at State House confirmed the meeting to Nairobileo.co.ke noting that the President met with SK just like he does with other local investors.

“I confirm the meeting. SK Macharia is a local investor. The President met him just like he does others,” the source privy to the matter spoke to this journalist. 

President Ruto earlier held a cabinet meeting at State House and cleared United Democratic Alliance (UDA) Secretary General Cleophas Malalah, the Advisor on Women Rights Harriette Chiggai, National Security Advisor Monica Juma and the Chairperson of Council of Economic Advisors David Ndii to be attending cabinet meetings.

During the meeting, the cabinet also approved the establishment of The Pending Bills Verification Committee, which will be tasked, with the auditing of liabilities for the period between 2005 and 2022.

It will be comprised of the Attorney General, the State Department of Roads, the State Department of Public Works, the State Department of Housing and Urban Development, and the Public Procurement Regulatory Authority.

The Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission, the Law Society of Kenya, the Institute of Engineers of Kenya, and the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya will also be part of it.
