Wamae suggested George Wajackoyah was a state project in last year's vote.

Former Roots Party of Kenya deputy presidential candidate Justina Wamae claims her boss then was a project of the state in the 2022 presidential vote.

Via Twitter, Justina explained that she had doubted Wajackoyah's presidential candidature at first.

"I went round the TVs telling people we had a fraud and con and everyone was against me," she said.

She said that she went on with the campaigns but kept it at the back of her mind that Wajackoyah was a project of the state.

Wamae further claimed that Wajackoyah upon learning that she had known his schemes, he resorted to intimidations and threats.

She had therefore to cut ties with him after the polls.

"Let it be known the man was never a project until few days to Manifesto launch, Team Justina provided the requirements to be cleared by IEBC. He knows in his heart.

This revelation explains why he resulted to violence and intimidation thinking I will ask for the little money he got from the state. Since that day till today I have never spoken to that Rastaman," she said.

Wamae dragged political analyst Mutahi Ngunyi in the saga claiming he was the one behind Wajackoyah's candidature.

According to her, Ngunyi was charged with disrupting President William Ruto's bid by pushing Wajackoyah.

"Kenyans, I refused to be used as a puppet and you saw the pushback. I couldn't do much because I wasn't the owner of the party. The agony I went through till they attempted to assassinate me. That is why Mutahi Ngunyi hated me for ruining his plan," she said.
