Data entry agents and digitization agents will each pocket Sh1,500 a day while team leaders will pocket Sh2,000 a day.

The Kenyan Judiciary has announced temporary vacancies in 79 court stations in 30 counties in the country that qualified Kenyans can apply.

Those recruited will serve for a period of between 5 days to 54 days based on the caseload statistics.

A total of 961 vacancies will be filled during that period which is spread as 803 posts for Data Entry agents with a salary of Sh1,500 a day.


Their duties will entail receiving files from the In-charge of registries, preparation of physical files to include unbinding, document sorting, page separation, listing, pagination, and indexing and binding the documents to their original state and order.

79 persons will be recruited as digitization agents who will also be scanning operators. They will also pocket Sh1,500 a day.

Their duties will be scanning all prepared documents, renaming the scanned images appropriately, undertaking quality checks for completed scanned files, saving the scanned images onto a Network Storage System and upload the scanned images to CTS.

Another set of 79 persons will be recruited as Team Leaders and quality/quality assurance officers. They will pocket Sh2,000 a day.


Their duties will be receiving files from the registry in-Charge, allocating duties and responsibilities to the team, undertaking quality checks for scanned documents and approval for uploading to CTS, ensuring the file is returned to its original state, preparing the attendance list and preparing the final report for submission to the station leadership.

The period of service will depend on the Station Caseload.

All applicants must have a KCSE certificate.
