The interruption will affect CTS, JFMIS, E-Filing, Website, and Judiciary E-mail service.

The Judiciary has announced that its online services will be interrupted from today October 6, at 8 pm to Sunday, October 8, 2023, at 6 pm.

The Judiciary in a statement noted that the interruption will be a result of the corrective and preventive maintenance of the Judiciary Data Centre.

“The Directorate of ICT is constantly enhancing the Judiciary Data Centre and Systems with the aim of optimizing systems performance. In this regard the Directorate of ICT has scheduled corrective and preventive maintenance of the Judiciary Data Centre,” the notice read in part.

The Judiciary noted that the interruption will affect CTS, JFMIS, E-Filing, Website and Judiciary E-mail service.

“During the maintenance period, the following Judiciary Online Services will be temporarily unavailable: CTS, JFMIS, E-Filing, Website and Judiciary E-mail service,” Judiciary added.

“We sincerely thank you for your continued support and apologize for any inconvenience that may be caused.”

This comes days after Chief Justice Martha Koome ordered the payment of cash bail and fines to be processed in open court to improve the ‎efficiency of the judicial system.

"These guidelines represent a significant step towards a more streamlined and ‎technology-driven judicial system, ensuring timely and transparent handling of ‎fines and cash bail, ultimately benefiting court users and the administration of ‎justice," she stated.

The Chief Justice also said the Judiciary’s Directorate of ICT will automate the processes ‎within thirty days, enhancing efficiency and accessibility.
