The recovered items are suspected to have been stolen. 

Police officers on Wednesday recovered 351 mobile phones, 13 tablets, 21 hard drives, and 20 laptops following a raid in a town within Kisii County.

In an update by the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) on Thursday, October 19, the recovered items are suspected to have been stolen.

According to detectives, 14 suspects have been arrested in connection with the stolen items. 

"NPS Officers from Kisii Central Sub-County and Mkopa recovered several electronic gadgets. The items are suspected to have been stolen from members of the public. Consequently, 14 suspects were also apprehended," part of the statement by DCI read.

At the same time, police in Kiambu County on Wednesday arrested on suspect linked to illicit brew. 

"Police from Gatukuyu Police Station within Kiambu County have arrested one suspect named Sarah Muthoni Ng'ang'a, and recovered 1721 bottles of suspected illicit brew labelled Diamond Ice. One motor was also detained during the operation," DCI said in a statement.
