Nyambaria High School Principal has been suspended as the KCSE centre manager in the ongoing examinations.

Charles Onyari is said to have been ejected as centre manager on allegations of exam irregularities.

The suspension was initiated by the Teachers Service Commission following a recommendation of the Kenya National Examinations Council.

Onyari is said to have played a role in aiding exam cheating.

 Manga sub-county, where the school falls, education director has also been suspended over the allegations.

Nyambaria High School hit headlines in the 2022 KCSE exams after it posted impressive results and beat big names in the country.

Provisional results showed that the school had a mean score of 10.89, an improvement from their previous results of 9.31 in 2021.

According to results from KNEC, 28 students scored an A (plain) 383 students got an A (minus) and 76 got a B+ with the last student scoring a B (plain).

The KCSE exams started on October 23 with practical papers and will run for a whole month till the end of November.

Form Four candidates across the country sat their theory papers for the 2023 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education on Monday, November 6.

On Tuesday, candidates sat Maths Paper 1 and English Paper 2.

On November 8, candidates sat Chemistry Paper 2 and English Paper 3.

On Thursday, November 9 the learners will be tested in Kiswahili Lugha Paper 2 and Kiswahili Insha Paper 1
