Once KCPE results are released by Education CS Ezekiel Machogu, students and parents across the county will be able to check their results using the SMS and website.  

All seeking to know the results of the KCPE candidates are to send the candidate's index number to 40054. 

For example, if 23467847002 is your index number, type 23467847002 then send it to 40054.

Candidates can access detailed results of their exams from their respective examination centres later on

If a candidate wants to check the exam results using the Knec web portal, he or she is advised to head to the KCPE tab and select the year they sat the national exams, and enter their Index number.

Students are asked to be patient while using the platform owing to a large number of requests sent at the same time which results in delays. 

A total of 1,415,315 candidates sat for their last KCPE exam.
