Details of Ruto's Meeting with President Kagame [Photos]

President William Ruto on Monday, February 12, met President Paul Kagame of Rwanda in Dubai, UAE. 

According to President Ruto, among the issues they discussed with Rwanda's President was regional peace and security. 

In addition, the two Heads of States state discussed investment and trade between Kenya and Uganda. 

"Kenya and Rwanda have shared values on trade and investment within East Africa and the African continent," President Ruto stated. 

President Ruto and his Rwandan counterpart are currently attending the World Governments Summit in Dubai, UAE.

The World Governments Summit is a global knowledge exchange platform for governments that was established in 2013. 

The Summit, in its various activities, explores the agenda of the next generation of governments, focusing on harnessing innovation and technology to solve universal challenges facing humanity.

At the same time, President Ruto also met Sultan Ahmed AL Jabar, the Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology of the Arab Emirates.

"Kenya’s investment in infrastructure comprising road, rail, and port is enticing many international investors. I am glad that the United Arab Emirates has shown interest in enhancing its presence in energy and technology in our country and the East African region.

"We want a win-win engagement for the citizens of the two countries," Ruto said via his X platform.
