Deputy President William Ruto has congratulated Hustler Nation candidates after a good showing in the May 18 by-elections.

Deputy President William Ruto has congratulated winners of the Juja Constituency and Rurii Ward, Nyandarua by-elections, also commending the 'Hustler Nation" candidate in Bonchari for a strong showing.

An ecstatic DP Euto took to social media to express his delight after his camp showed  a strong display in the by-elections.

"We thank God for Hustler nation victory in Juja & Rurie and the awesome show in Bonchari. A big congratulations to all our hustler teams for a sterling performance against all odds. Hongera our competitors, let's keep it issue based and pull together.

"Sasa tupange uchumi na Big4," the DP stated.

In the Juja by-elections, Moses Kuria's People's Empowerment Party (PEP) candidate George Koimburi emerged victorious in the mini-polls by a landslide, defeating Jubilee's Susan Wakapee.

ODM's Pavel Oimeke emerged victorious in Bonchari, narrowly edging UDA's Teressa Bitutu. UDA's candidate Githaiga Francis Muraya carried the day in Rurii ward.

Leaders allied to the DP have also joined in on the celebrations, throwing jabs at the ruling Jubilee Party for loses in all the by-elections.

"Sema, Hustler! Hustler in Rurie.. Hustler in Juja.. Hustler in Bonchari.. Hustler everywhere! We lost narrowllllly in Bonchari but at least to a worthy opponent and not to that criminal enterprise called Deep State. We thank God," former Kakamega Senator Boni Khalwale stated.

"The last week has been a nightmare for someone. Today his ‘on life support’ Party LOST in Rurii, Juja & Bonchari! Appears his imaginary grip of the Mountain is a MIRAGE! Deep state and system is a scam!" Nakuru Senator Susan Kihika stated.

Murang'a Senator Irungu Kang'ata referenced the Jubilee loses in Mt Kenya to a letter he wrote to President Uhuru Kenyatta sated December 30, 2020, in which he told the Head of State that the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) was unpopular in the region.

The Senator alleged that the loses are an indication of a strong support for DP Ruto in the region.

"When I said BBi is unpopular, I meant the ground ,not political elites. Hustler wins two seats in Mt Kenya-Juja and Rurii," Kang'ata stated.
