Government pathologist Johansen Oduor has revealed the grim state of the late Sharon Otieno's body when it was discovered near Kodero forest in Homa Bay.

According to Dr Oduor, the body of the late Sharon was not clothed when he received it for an autopsy.

The pathologist stated that he was later handed a white bloodstained jumpsuit which he was told belonged to Sharon.

He went on to reveal the gruesome condition the body was in.

" The body was flaccid and there was skin slipping off her back, arms and legs," he told a stunned court.

Sharon's body was also pale which revealed that she had lost a lot of blood.

Sharon also had two deep slash wounds below her left ear and bruises on the right side of her neck.

The autopsy also revealed bleeding at the root of the tongue while her right lung had collapsed.

Of the 7 stab wounds on Sharon's body, one pierced her abdomen puncturing her uterus and stabbed the foetus in her womb.

Muscles on the left side of her neck had completely detached from the bone revealing the brutality of the killers of the 26-year-old university student.

Dr Oduor was speaking as the first prosecution witness during the start of the murder trial of Migori Governor Okoth Obado and his co-accused Juma Oyamo and Casper Obiero.

The three are accused of killing Sharon Otieno whose body was discovered on September 3rd 2018. At the time of her death, she was 28 weeks pregnant with a baby fathered by Governor Obado.
