"The hours of the ongoing nationwide curfew to continue across the country, starting from 10:00 p.m. and ending at 4:00 a.m. until further notice. This applies to the counties in the lake region as well," Kagwe announced.

Additionally, the CS stated that In-person worship services are limited to 1/3 of the capacity of the venue.

The Health CS urged Kenyans to get vaccinated while at the same time discouraging PSVs not to carry passengers without masks.

"We encourage Kenyans to get vaccinated as will be guided from time to time. Those vaccinated should not drop their guard and should follow all the set down protocols

"Nairobi hospitals are stretched out & the truth of the matter is, if you fall sick right now, it's unlikely that you will get a bed in Nairobi, the beds are full. I would like to urge those in home-based care to consult with doctors from time to time," CS Kagwe told the press.
