Residents of Kinoo are in panic after a five-storey building leaned over on the morning of Friday, September 3, 2021.

According to video and images circulating online, as seen by Nairobileo.co.ke, the building leaned over to one side, with residents fearing it may soon collapse.

The residents have begun evacuating from the area in a bid to avert any tragedy that may arise from the collapse.

The building appears to have been nearing completion before its impending collapse.

Reports indicate officials from the National Construction Authority (NCA) and police officers have already arrived at the scene. 

Kiambu police boss Ali Nuno confirmed that the building had partially collapsed adding that no construction workers were trapped in the buidling that is near Kinoo shopping centre.
