Three people were burnt beyond recognition after the vehicle they were travelling in was involved in a grisly road accident.
The accident that occurred near Kiambere Dam on Embu-Kitui Highway involved a truck that was transporting fertilizers to Embu Town.
The truck rolled several times before bursting into flames.
Area Chief Mtitu Ngiri told Nairobi Leo that the victims were burnt beyond recognition.
“The driver of the lorry lost control of the v while approaching the Sheria roundabout. It rolled several times before bursting into flames," Muli said.
On board, the lorry was a 48-year-old man and two youth.
Ngiri said their effort to save the three was futile since the fire was huge.
An eyewitness said the door of the vehicle could not open because of the impact of the accident.
