The man is suspected to be behind the disappearance of the whopping cash.

The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) has revealed the identity of a man wanted in connection with the disappearance of Sh11 million in Eastleigh, Nairobi.

In a statement on Facebook on Monday, July 4, the directorate shared photos of Abdirizack Moktar Garat, who it said was linked with the disappearance of the money from a safe.

The George Kinoti-led directorate urged members of the public who may have any information about the whereabouts of Garat the contact DCI through a toll-free number.

“Detectives are looking for one Abdirizack Moktar Garat (pictured) in connection to the disappearance of approximately Sh11 million from a safe at Salama Centre Building, in Eastleigh.

“DCI is appealing to the members of the public for any information that may lead to the arrest of the suspect who has since gone into hiding. If you have any information regarding his whereabouts, kindly contact us through our toll-free number 0800722203,” DCI stated.

This comes even as the detectives from DCI have recently been involved in a rigorous hunt for criminals, especially in Nakuru city.

The directorate on Friday, July 1, revealed the identities of six gang members suspected to be behind the chilling murders in the region.

DCI shared photos of the six maintaining that they had already completed their necessary forensic examination and documentation .
