Migingo Girls High School Deputy Principal has allegedly been killed by her son.

Roselyn Nyawanda was found dead in a bathroom of her house when her other sons came visiting at around 8 pm on Sunday.

The murder incident reportedly happened within the school compound on Saturday, August 20.

Her 27-year-old son is being held by police in Nyando, Kisumu county, over the mother death.

The son is suspected to have stabbed her mother before burning her body.

A knife believed to have been used in the heinous act was found besides her in the bathroom.

A lantern lamp from which the suspect is believed to have drown a kerosene from  and used it to burn the other was also discovered.

Preliminary reports indicates that the suspect is mentally stable and a drug addict who has perennially wrecked havoc at the home.
