Roots Party Presidential running mate Justina Wamae has divulged that she is in pursuit of a job opportunity.

In an interview with TV47 on Wednesday, Justina told off those attacking her for being vocal adding that their claim that she is seeking a job opportunity is true.

"Kuna watu wananitroll ati wanasema ooh wewe unatafuta job. Kwani ni siri? Mimi natafuta job," she said.

She added:

"Tumeenda elections. President alikua anatafuta job, governor alikua anatafuta job, Senator, woman rep, MP hadi MCA walikua wanatafuta job. Mimi nijifanya niko na kitu na sina? Mimi natafuta job."

When asked whether her financial status is what fueled her move to back President-elect William Ruto, Wamae said:

"You guys, I am broke. Let me say the lord has bee gracious." 

Wamae became a sensation after she ran for the top seat as George Wajackoyah's running mate in the August 9, polls.

She articulated the agenda of the party so much so that she got the attention of Kenya who lauded her confidence.

Before being Wajackoyah's running mate, she vied as MP for Mavoko constituency.

"Saizi mtu akiniambia naomba kazi ni ukweli. Nilianguka kiti ya Mavoko 2017, nikatuma application 2018 ya PS. So I am not doing anything that is different. Mimi naaply tuu job. Mimi passion yangu ni public service. Sitaki watu wanishame, mimi natafuta job," she said.
