Judiciary has announced the time and venue Supreme Court will deliver its verdict today. 

The Supreme Court of Kenya will deliver its verdict at 12 noon on Monday, September 5, 2022. 

"Take notice that the judgement in this petition will be delivered on Monday the 5th of September 2022, at 12.00 noon at the Supreme Court of Kenya Milimani Courts," the notice by the judiciary read in part. 

Azimio presidential candidate Raila Odinga was among other six petitioners who had challenged President-elect William Ruto's win. 



Upon conclusion of the hearing of a presidential petition, the Supreme Court will make an order dismissing the petition or invalidating the declaration made by the electoral commission under Article 138(5) of the Constitution.

The seven-judge bench consists of; Chief Justice Martha Koome, Philomena Mwilu (vice president) Njoki Ndung'u, Issac Lenaola, Smokin Wanjala, Mohammed Ibrahim, and William Ouko.
