"Azziad has no obligation to validate her reality to anyone. What's wrong with you people?"

Political Analyst Mutahi Ngunyi has defended social media influencer Azziad Nasenya following a sustained online attack directed at her.

Azziad has been the subject of social media trends with a section of online users subjecting her to cyberbullying.

The developments have seemingly irked Mutahi Ngunyi who took to social media on Tuesday to defend Azziad.

Ngunyi told off those after her saying she should be given a space to live her life in peace without any pressure to justify anything.

"Give this Azziad Kid a break. We cannot be a nation that destroys our best because we do not measure up," Ngunyi said in a tweet.

"And she has no obligation to validate her reality to anyone. What's wrong with you people?"

The recent bullying the social media influencer has faced saw her pursue legal action against popular Tiktoker Brian Chira.

The case, though pending in court, is a clear indicator that the influencer could be fed up with cyberbullying she has faced over the years.

Azziad burst into the limelight after her infectious dance to Utawezana Song went viral.

The song made her a sensation she has become and she leveraged the trend to become one of the most sought-after brands for product promotion.

The bullying she experiences lately began way back she rose to fame so much so that it took her weeks to piece together her broken heart before coming back to her social media influence.

While narrating the experience, she said she almost lost it her all to cyberbullying.
