Kiprono Kittony is an esteemed technocrat in the country having served in highly reputable organisations such as the Kenya National Chamber of Commerce, Nairobi Securities Exchange, and Radio Africa Group among others.

While he is widely known for his leadership stints at various organisations, not many are familiar with the business ventures he owns privately.

In this article, we profile Cranes Haven Resort - one of the entities that make up Kittony's private business portfolio.

The resort is located approximately 24 kilometers from Kitale town in Trans Nzoia County. It is home to hundreds of birds thus the name Cranes Haven.

The resort sits at a prime location surrounded by tourist attractions such as Mt Elgon, Cherangany Hills, and Saiwa Swamp National Park which is approximately an hour's drive from the facility.

It is made up of five uniquely tented camps, a bar, restaurant, lounge, spa, and a heated pool. Judging from its outlook, Cranes Haven was created with the aim of leaving a long-lasting memory to its clients.

Moreover, the resort has a number of activities including horse riding, nature trail, archery, and cycling among others.

The resort also has a huge garden and a conference facility that can play host to corporate and social events. Its kitchen is reported to have a capacity to prepare food for up to 2,000 guests.
