Former Agriculture Cabinet Secretary Mwangi Kiunjuri has appealed to Kenyans to take time and read the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) report received by President Uhuru Kenyatta.

The three-term Laikipia East Member of Parliament said BBI was for the good of all Kenyans appealing for proper consideration for the report.

According to the TSP party leader, Kenyans should take time to read the report in detail before making a decision on supporting it.

"Good people, now that the #BBIReport is out, finally, let us all take time to read it and make informed decisions. It about us, it about our country, it’s about posterity," Kinjuri appealed.

Early this year, President Uhuru Kenyatta dropped Kiunjuri from his cabinet, handing his docket to former Meru Governor Peter Munya.

He was allegedly fired by the president for his close association with parliamentarians aligned to the Tanga Tanga movement, a political faction rooting for DP Ruto’s election in 2022.

The Deputy President has in the recent past dismissed the BBI report as a scheme creating positions for a few individuals.
