Cotu secretary general Francis Atwoli on Monday afternoon met a young man who drew his portrait that has since gone viral.

Taking it to his official Twitter account, the trade unionist expressed his pleasure in meeting Moses Kiprop and thanked him for the wonderful work.

According to Atwoli, the 22-year-old artist was talented in his work. He offered to support him in furthering his education as he even asked Kenyans to support the guy’s work.

“Moses Kiprop is a talented young man who took his time to draw this amazing portrait. I met him today to say thank you for this wonderful work of art and promised to empower him more by supporting him to further his education. Contact him, 0742240694, to support his talent,” Atwoli tweeted.

A section of Kenyans were quick to reply to Atwoli’s tweet as they thanked him for his good gesture.

“Thank you mzee atwoli, unanasimama na chama gani vijana tukupee kura?” @Bookten8 replied.

Kiprop caught the attention of Atwoli after his work of art went viral on Monday. According to reports, the young artist uses charcoal, graphite, and bristol paper to put together his brilliant work.

He gave Atwoli an exact copy of his image after taking 110 hours on the task. Kiprop is said to have scored a D-Minus in his KCSE exams.
