The Administration Police Service has announced that there will be a traffic disruption today along the Nairobi Eastern Bypass. 

The Administration Police Service has announced that there will be a traffic disruption along the Nairobi Eastern Bypass on Wednesday (today), January 11.  

The traffic disruption will be occasioned by the passing out parade at NPC Embakasi A Campus (formerly APTC), Utawala. 

According to the notice, motorists have been urged to be patient and observe lane discipline as directed by National Police Service (NPS) officers. 

"We call on motorists to be patient & observe lane discipline,follow directive given by NPS officers on the ground to allow smooth flow of traffic as we work to ensure normal operations go on. We regret any inconveniences that may be caused," the notice read in part.

The pass-out parade will be presided by president William Ruto and the Head of State will be joined by other Government officials. 

This comes barely a day after President Ruto presided over the pass-out parade at the Kenya Police Training College in Kiganjo, Nyeri County. 

"To optimize the crime-solving capabilities of a modern, professional and efficient police service, the government is enhancing its investment in the National Forensic Laboratory to ensure that it has the necessary modern equipment and facilities to conclude complex investigations and significantly improve the success rate in supporting the prosecution of criminals," President Ruto said in Nyeri County on Tuesday, January, 10.
