The CS said it was wrong to cast aspersions on the performance of the school yet students worked hard to deserve the results.

Educations Cabinet Secretary Ezekiel Machogu has told off critics of the 2022 KCSE Examinations results.

Speaking on Monday, January 23, the CS defended the Nyanza region from claims of rigging saying those fuelling the rumors are targeting the region unfairly.

"Let us stop this propaganda, it will not benefit anyone," Machogu stated.

His statement came as questions abound on why most Kisii schools recorded stellar performance in the just released KCSE exams.

However, the CS has defended schools such as Nyambaria against the onslaught saying they have been performing well even before.

The CS said it was wrong to cast aspersions on the performance of the school yet students worked hard to deserve the results.

"Let us wait for the 2023 exams and ensure our children work hard," he said.

Most schools in the Nyanza region, especially Kisii, dwarfed veteran performers in the just.

Nyambaria recorded a 100 percent transition to university with a mean score of 10.8.
