Also Present at the meeting was Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua.

The meeting came ahead of Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Alliance's Kamukunji rally where Raila Odinga is expected to drop a major Bombshell.

MPs who attended the meeting are David Kiaraho (Ol Kalou), Irene Njoki (Bahati), Zachary Kwenya (Kinangop), Shadrack Mwiti (South Imenti). 

Nominated MP Sabina Chege and her EALA counterpart Kanini Kega were also present.

Others who also there are MPs Mark Mwenje (Embakasi West), Amos Mwago (Starehe), Daniel Karitho (Igembe Central), Stanley Muthama (Lamu West) and Joseph Githuku (Lamu).

This is the first meeting Jubilee Party MPs have held with President William Ruto and his deputy Gachagua.

Jubilee Party is a member of the Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Alliance that supported Raila for the presidency.

The move to meet Ruto signals another defection that could deal a blow to ODM leader Raila Odinga’s chances of staging a formidable opposition.
