President Ruto has been re-organizing his cabinet in a move aimed at rewarding his allies and at the same time improving service delivery.

President William Ruto has made fresh appointments to various state agency boards in the country.

In a gazette notice dated February 17, 2022, Ruto appointed Abdillahi Ibrahim to be the Chairperson of the Board of Directors of the Kenya Medical Research Institute.

He will serve  for a period of three years, with effect from February 17th , 2023. At the same time President Ruto revoked the appointment of Mbinda Daniel Musyoka.

In the same gazette notice, Ruto has appointed Samson Kipkoech Some to be the Chairperson of the Board of Directors of the Tourism Fund Board.

He will serve for for a period of three  years, with effect from the 17th February, 2023.

Ruto revoked the appointment of Alphonse Kioko. 

Another beneficiary of Ruto's appointment is Alfred Khang'ati.

He has been named the Chairperson of the Board of Directors of Nzoia Sugar Company Limited.

He will serve for a period of three years with effect from the 17th February, 2023.
