"Is this Nation Media or somebody feigning its account? If not, Moses Kuria has a point."

Principal Secretary for the State Department of Crop Development Harsama Kello has joined Cabinet Secretary for Trade and Investment Moses Kuria in boycotting Nation Media Group as far as adverts are concerned.

Kello on Tuesday made the revelations following a story run by Nation dubbed "Ruto's subsidised fertiliser farmers do not want".

The PS who appeared harangued by the headline endorsed comments by CS Kuria on the media house saying he will also not advertise with the media group.

This, he said, will be until what he termed as " war against government" is over.

"Is this Nation Media or somebody feigning its account? If not, Moses Kuria has a point," he said in a comment on the story.

He added:

Nation Media Group Headquarters Twins Towers.

"My communication team has verified its real Nation. I want to officially say in protest of deliberate propaganda and misinformation ...that my state department will also not advertise in the Nation until am convinced that the war is over. They will have to choose politics or Business."

His comments came even as CS Kuria continues to face backlash for vowing to send home whoever will advertise with Nation Media Group and also hurling unprintable words.

NMG brings together Daily Nation newspaper, Nation Africa Online platform, NTV and Nation Fm.

Kuria made the remarks after the daily implicated him in an oil deal that could have cost Kenyans billions of losses in tax.

The CS, however, resorted to hurling unprintable words against the media house for the report without giving a clear side of his story.
