The Kenya Railways has announced the temporary closure of Nairobi Railway Matatu termini on Sunday. 

A notice seen by Nairobi Leo said the closure would happen between 6 am on Sunday to 6 pm on the same day.

"Notice is hereby given to the General Public that Kenya Airways in conjunction with the Nairobi City County intend to carry out a comprehensive Ground Presentation Radar (GPR) Utility Survey at the Railways Matatu Terminus and Easy Coach Park," Kenya Railways said in a notice. 

The process is part of the Design and planning process of the New Nairobi Central Railway Station and Public Real, which are a component of the Nairobi Railway City Project.

Green Park Bus Terminus.

The exercise will see Matatu Operators using the stage and the General public affected especially for pick-up and drop-up points for the public service vehicles.

Matatus from Ngong Road and Valley Road will operate at Green Park for that period of the day.

"Matatus from Lang'ata Road and Mombasa road will have their pick up and drop off points at Agip Bus Bay in front of the Posta City Square and the streets between Neno Evangelism Church and Shell-Petrol Station, off Haile Selassie Avenue.
