A police officer has been killed in Siaya County and his other colleague injured after being attacked by thugs on Monday morning.
The tragedy occurred in the Alego Usonga sub-county when the officers were escorting KCSE exam papers.
The KCSE exam papers were being escorted to Mahero Secondary School in Siaya County.
The school center manager is said to have run for safety as the officers engaged the thugs.
