47 people have been left injured after their bus was involved in an accident along Londiani - Muhoroni Road, Kericho County.
The injured passengers were rushed to hospital after the Kenya Red Cross team was deployed at the accident scene.
"Forty-seven injured individuals have been swiftly taken to Fort Tenan Sub County Hospital by the County Government," the Kenya Red Cross announced.
Seven people however escaped unhurt following the accident that happened on Friday, December 22.

Photos shared by the Kenya Red Cross showed the bus in a ditch. However, the cause of the early morning accident was not immediately established.
"A road traffic incident involving a 62-seater bus has been reported along Londiani - Muhoroni Road, Kericho County. Response teams have been activated," Kenya Red Cross accident alert read.
By the time of this publication, the National Police Service (NPS) had cleared the scene allowing normal traffic flow.
The accident came just days after Inspector General of Police Japhet Koome warned motorists against reckless driving.
He advised drivers and passengers to observe traffic rules to avert accidents.
“We have entered into the festive season and from experience, we expect high vehicular traffic on our roads due to increased movements of Kenyans across the country. The vehicular situation this year is further compounded by the ongoing heavy El-Nino rains being experienced in many parts of the Country, which in turn is causing poor visibility on the roads,” he said.
“In most of these eases, we are talking of non-compliance with traffic regulations and rules such as operating defective vehicles, failure to use safety belts by commuters, speeding, driver fatigue, driving under the influence of alcohol and drugs, and dangerous overtaking.”
Koome further recalled police on leave.
