The One Kenya Alliance principals on Wednesday announced that they have postponed their coalition agreement signing that was scheduled for today.

In a press statement read out by Narc-Kenya party leader Martha Karua, the outfit declared that the agreement signing will be made in due time.

According to Karua, OKA needed to work on certain legal issues before formalizing the agreement.

Taking to social media, Wiper boss Kalonzo Musyoka intimated that the alliance is committed to a just, inclusive and prosperous Kenya.

He explained that they will continue to engage in structured dialogue amongst themselves and with other like-minded coalitions that will be honest, open and transparent.

“Respectively thus l, we wish to assure Kenyans that the OKA constituent parties - the Wiper Democratic Movement, KANU, NARC-K & UDP - are still interrogating the binding legal documents. We expect that the Coalition Agreement will be signed early next week.” Kalonzo stated.

On his part, Kanu chairman Gideon Moi tweeted: “As OKA, we remain united, solid and undeterred. We insist on honest and structured dialogue as we seek to mould our country into a bastion of shared prosperity. That is our commitment as a coalition.”

This comes even as Kalonzo declared that OKA had no option but to work with Raila Odinga’s Azimio La Umoja.
