Citizen TV News Anchor Lilian Muli has dismissed reports that she is open to dating younger men who are broke.

In a statement via her Instagram page on Sunday, June 18, the celebrated news anchor stated that the reports were fake.

“Fake. This nonsense must stop,” Muli stated.

The celebrated news anchor came out to clarify the reports after trending on Twitter for the most part of Saturday.

The allegations had elicited mixed reactions from netizens with most of them trolling the Citizen TV news anchor.

On February 9, 2022, during a question and Answer session with her fans on Instagram, ‘Muli was asked whether she would date a younger man who is financially stable. She responded by saying she would date anyone who respects her.

“I would date anyone who respects me” she stated.

When asked by another fan if she can be engaged to a foreigner, the Citizen TV news anchor noted that she was looking to get married but she is no longer interested.

Muli was also asked by another follower about her take on relationships, she stated that they are a lot of work.
